I am saddened to begin this announcement on a sombre note. Last night one Nunavummiut passed away due to COVID-19. This is our first casualty in this wave. My thoughts are with their family and community.

$4.5M to bolster COVID-19 isolation food supports program
The Government of Nunavut has allocated almost $4.5 million to help Nunavummiut access food hampers during COVID-19.
If you been advised to isolate because of COVID-19 or need food supports to be able to isolate safely, there is help available.
If you do not have friends, family or people to get food and supplies for you, please email IsolationSupports@gov.nu.ca or call 1-888-902-0872 to get the process started.
