Premier P.J. Akeeagok today issued the following statement regarding the results of the Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. presidential election:
“Congratulations to Jeremy Tunraluk on his election as President of Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated.
“I look forward to working collaboratively on our many shared priorities through our Nunavut Partnership Committee. As we work towards our common goal: the betterment of Nunavut, our discussions in these coming months will continue to build the foundation for the next chapter of our territory.
